Om Laila Bellydance is currently in NEED for a graphic person. We would prefer someone from our community that would be willing to barter their services for classes, if not we are more then happy to take some recommendations. We need someone who is proficient in illustrator, photoshop and indesign (if paid work) at low cost. Stuff to move you for this week

Here are a few worlds to practice from the different classes:

Vertical hips:
stationary...
up
down (especially down)
down with a slide

travelling...
forward, backward, sideways

gooey vertical stuff...
maya, fish (stationary, travelling, level changes)

Omis
on the up (regular omis)
on the down (new for higher levels)
level changes
moving to diagonals
get the speed up

No time like when you have no time...

I have some ridiculous urge to write to you all today of all days when I'm between IdeaCity sessions, rehearsal for Miss Pakistan, and Laila's "graduation" from the pre-school room to the kindergarten room at her daycare (very exciting). I have been meaning to pour my love and pride all over all the dancers and volunteers who made the recital so fantastic. Somehow, I haven't found the words or the time or both...so I'm doing it now,

Launching the Om Laila Community

Wow...my first blog post. I feel nervous.

First of all, let me welcome us all to the glorious new web world of Om Laila...and this community section is just the beginning. Wait until the whole thing is up and running - it is so gorgeous.
